Apple iPhone 7S Wishlist: After the grand success of the iPhone 7, the fans are eagerly waiting for the next iteration of this premium smartphone series to come out. The iPhone 7 is truly a revolutionary handset by all means, be it the first smartphone to feature the Lightning Port instead of the traditional 3.5 mm jack or the first iPhone to come with a water resistant body. But the fans are not satisfied with these only; they are craving for some more new features and thus waiting for the next iPhone, badly. Now the question is, what will be the next iPhone called? Will it be the iPhone 8 or Apple will launch another version of the iPhone 7, the iPhone 7S?
Well if we follow the pattern, the Cupertino-based tech conglomerate did launch the iPhone 6S before they unveil the iPhone 7 in September 2016. So there are plenty of possibilities that Apple will do the same this time too. Well, we have already discussed in our other posts about the iPhone 7S release date, features and specs. In this guide, we will shed some lights on what fans want to see from the upcoming iPhone 7S and what is the Apple iPhone 7S Wishlist.
Bigger Size: It is true that Apple is not known for the enormous display size of their smartphones, The current flagship of the company, the iPhone 7 only flaunts a display of 4.7-inch, which is much smaller when you compare with other flagship devices of the other renowned smartphone making companies.Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, the premium handset of Samsung, both come with bigger display size. Same goes for the LG G5 and Google Pixel. So we wish the iPhone 7S to come with a bigger screen size, at least of 5-inch.
Gorilla Glass: All the modern day smartphone making companies ensure that their flagship device gets the utmost protection. If you take the example of Google Pixel or the Samsung Galaxy S7, all are protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass so that if the phone falls off from your hand or pocket, it does not get scratched or shattered. So we would like to see the iPhone 7S to come with the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection so that we can save our beloved expensive smartphone from a momentary mistake.
Biometric Security Option: Advanced security option is another feature all the smartphone makers are trying to put in their devices. Although the iPhone 7 comes with a fingerprint sensor we would be more than happy if the next instalment features and iris scanner or facial recognition. And this is not a daydream at all because according to many reports, Apple has already started sourcing iris scanning chips from Taiwan-based supplier Xintec and the company will start the mass production of the chips in the first quarter of 2017.
VR Compatibility: Virtual reality is surely the next big thing which will rock the whole technological world. Samsung has already made their flagship devices Vr compatible, so does Lenovo and other companies. So it would be very naive for Apple to ignore this feature. The latest rumours are, the A11 chipset, which will power the next iPhone, is going to be VR compatible. So we can really hope for that the iPhone 7S will be Vr compatible.
Upgraded Apple Maps: There is no doubt, Apple Maps is one of the best location tracking applications currently available in the smartphone market, but it seems Google has edged past the Cupertino-based tech conglomerate with their newly upgraded Google Maps installed in the Google Pixel smartphone. So we hope Apple will upgrade the Apple Maps to the optimum level and make it one heck of a location tracking system. Moreover, the US-based tech giant has already started working on Apple Maps and introduced drones to further better the system. These drones will “examine street signs, track changes to roads and monitor if areas are under construction” as well as will able to see inside buildings. So we are keeping our fingers crossed and hoping for an upgraded Apple maps in the upcoming iPhone 7S.
